Finding Benefits in Doggy Day CareĀ doggy day care

Leaving your dog home alone everyday while you go off to work is hard, especially with a sad little face peeking out the window watching you drive away. But even worse is what you face when you return home after a long workday.

The kitchen garbage strewn all over floor, and paw prints of messy coffee grinds and last night's leftovers trailing from room to room. The pitifully sad puppy left behind of the early morning turns into wild psycho pooch by day.

Well, what else is there for your dog to do all day? Can't go out for a walk, there's no one to open the door and hold the leash and your cat is to lazy lying in the sun to play a game of fetch. Luckily there is a solution for you and your dog.

Doggy daycare facilities have popped up all across the country. These fully staffed professional businesses offer companionship and playmates to keep dogs happy, painting, and wagging for more. Dogs mingle, sniff and make new friends as they make their rounds and responsible animal loving staff members interact, play and walk dogs for some one on one fun. Staff members are fully trained for behavioral outbreaks and a veterinarian is on call at all times in the event an emergency arises. On average, the going rate for a day of play ranges between $10 and $30 dollars.

There are a few requirements that must be met before a dog can join in on the tail wagging fun. Dogs must have documentation outlining all vaccinations (such as Rabies, Para influenza, Bordet Ella, Distemper, and Parvovirus) are current and up to date. Dogs must be in good health, that is, with out fleas, ticks, or parasites. In some cases male dogs must be neutered to gain admittance, but females in heat are not aloud either in such instances.

Doggy Day Care is the saving grace for owners everywhere with lonely dogs that find themselves in trouble while alone during the day.
